FCRA License Of 5 NGO's Revoked by Indian Government For For Their Non Social Activities.

 The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has recently revoked the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) licenses of five prominent NGOs due to violations, including the misuse of foreign grants. Most of the NGO's receiving foreign funding for social serivce but were being used for conversion and false narrative building The affected NGOs are:

CNI Synodical Board of Social Service (CNI-SBSS)


Voluntary Health Association of India (VHAI)


Indo-Global Social Service Society (IGSSS)

Church Auxiliary for Social Action (CASA)

Evangelical Fellowship of India (EFOI).



This action was taken following due process, and it underscores the importance of adhering to regulations governing foreign contributions in India. The misuse of foreign funds can have serious implications for NGOs and their operations. The MHA’s decision aims to ensure transparency and accountability in the utilization of such grants.
